The Clergy fee is $400, $500 with rehearsal, and $500 plus a mileage charge depending upon travel time and distance for ceremonies at locations other than the church.

The Organist fee is $200.

All fees must be paid in full by one month prior to the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremonies

In the Unitarian Universalist tradition, marriage is ultimately a promise made by two people to make a life together.  We require no doctrinal test or religious requirement from couples who might seek to plan their wedding here.  Also, as a Welcoming Congregation, we acknowledge marriage between two people regardless of sexual orientation.

It is our expectation that a minister of our congregation will officiate at all weddings held here.  Clergy from other Unitarian Universalist churches or other traditions are welcome to co-officiate.  Priority  is given to weddings of Members and Friends of the Church.  The ministers also officiate at locations other than the church within a reasonable distance.

Useful Information

Our building is handicapped accessible. An elevator offers access to all floors.  Smoking is not permitted in the building or near the entrances.

Please advise your florist of the church's hours to help facilitate delivery.  Nails, tacks, wire or tape may not be used to secure decorations.  Any flowers you purchase remain your property, though the church will put any flowers you wish to leave to good use!

If your ceremony is to include organ or piano music, you must consult with our Music Director, Mike Carney, and secure his services or his permission for another musician to use those instruments.  The church is also equipped to play CDs if that is your preference.  Other musicians (vocal, harp, flute, etc.) may either collaborate with Ms. Jennings or play on their own.

Photography and video are permitted, but please consult with the officiant for his/her preferences.

The total seating capacity of the Sanctuary is 438.  There are 21 pews on each side of the main floor (seating 393) and three pews in the balcony (seating 45).  The balcony is not handicapped accessible.  The center aisle is five feet wide and is 69 feet long from the Sanctuary entrance to the base of the Chancel steps.  Two white candelabra holding seven 16 inch candles each are available for your use (you must provide the candles).

We look forward to working with you to make your wedding day a special one!
