First Unitarian Church is a proud member of GCC. Our core team meets periodically to discuss issues and mobilize
members of the congregation to take part in GCC assemblies and actions.
GCC has identified five areas of focus: education, jobs, health care, criminial justice, and food accessibility.
First U's primary focus with GCC is in the area of education, but we welcome participation in any of the other
areas of focus as well.
Updates on GCC activities can be found in our monthly newsletter.

Live out your values. This is a great opportunity to Serve, as in “To Search and to Serve.” If you choose to join
an issue team, you will have the opportunity to work with others from different faith traditions and areas
of the county toward a common good. We can do so much more good together than we can accomplish individually,

congregational meetings, ranging from food to program.
