In Search of Redemption

the Rev. Colin Bossen
Date: November 29, 2009
Redemption is the act of saving someone or something from evil or sin. It is closely linked to forgiveness. How do we understand redemption and forgiveness as Unitarian Universalists? Can we make them, or should they be, part of our spiritual lives?

The Rev. Colin Bossen has been the minister of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Cleveland since 2007. He is currently co-writing, with Julia Hamilton, the adult religious education curriculum Resistance and Transformation: A History of Unitarian Universalist Social Justice as part of the UUA's Tapestry of Faith program and is the co-author of the Bridging Program: Workshops and Guidelines. He lives in Coventry with his wife, daughter, son and dog.  Rev. Bossen and Rev. Budd are exchanging pulpits today.
